What to Bring:  Jacket, good walking shoes and a flashlight.

A 19th century scientific expedition described a Mount Diablo creature as “attaining the size of a half-grown mouse, possessing fangs the size of a rattlesnake’s, and delivering a bite generally considered fatal!”  Trick or Treat?  Halloween is just around the corner!  Join us for a talk and trek in search of the creepy, crawling creatures that live on Mt. Diablo.  Are they scary, mysterious and spooky?  Go in search of what lurks after dark.  This is a 3 mile round trip trek with a few hundred feet in elevation gain.
